Many local representatives are certified to handle small claims. So, the person who sold you the policy can also help you through a claim situation. In addition, Germania has field adjusters equipped with the latest technology to handle claims, which in many cases allows us to issue a check the same day the adjuster reviews your loss. Germania also has a large experienced home office adjusting staff able to handle many claims over the phone, speeding up the claims process.
Who do I call if I need to report a claim?
How promptly your claim is handled is one of the most important things for all insurance customers. And getting your claim handled to your satisfaction means being able to report the claim as soon as possible. At Germania, you can now report a claim 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To make it even faster, Germania has trained many of their agents and representatives in claims handling, and in most cases a call to your local Germania agent/representative is all that is necessary.
So, call the person you bought your insurance from first. If you cannot reach your agent, please call 1-800-392-2202, extension 4810 during business hours. Normal business hours at Germania are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours, simply call 1-800-392-2202 and you will be guided to a claims customer service representative.
If you should have an automobile glass claim call the Germania glass connection at 1-888-664-4671. A customer service representative will handle your glass claim.
How fast will I get my check?
We are truly proud of our response time to claims. Our claims adjusters are equipped with lap top computers, and in most cases we are able to issue a check the day the adjuster reviews your loss.
